As a Technical Designer, I focused on level design while supporting our smaller team in additional roles. I collaborated closely with programmers to ensure gameplay mechanics aligned with design intentions and worked alongside another designer to bring levels to life. Crafting engaging, accessible puzzles was a rewarding challenge, as was using a modular kit and art assets to create an immersive underground theme. Beyond design, I leveraged my Premiere Pro skills to create a trailer that generated excitement and intrigue for the project.
This project marked my first deep dive into designing gameplay mechanics with environmental implications. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, as I worked closely with the team to create mechanics that directly influenced the environment, making puzzles more dynamic and engaging for players. Leveraging the strengths of my teammates, we brought these ideas to life, resulting in a memorable and interactive player experience.
